Persimmons Lindsay & Terry Wells, Valley View Orchards
Stonefruit John & Mercer Hope

Lindsay & Terrie Wells of Valley View Orchards (seen right) were unable to attend the awards ceremony so the 2003 Persimmon Award was presented later at Freshmax Head Offices in Mt Wellington.

Lindsay & Terry Wells with Michael Ahern, General Manager Intermax.

Lindsay & Terrie Wells were recognised for their excellent contribution to Intermax's export persimmon program this season. During 2003 Valley View supplied nearly 50% of Intermax's total supply with outstanding quality. Based in Kamo, Northland Valley View Orchards packed our first season of YESS brand persimmons which was a great success.

Our congratulations to all the recipients and we look forward to working with you again in the coming seasons.
